The specification of this newly bike can be explained on following sector:-
1. Engine and Transmission- This is four strokes, single cylindrical; liquid cooled and 4 valve DOHC engine that will generate maximum power of 25.47 bhp. It will be having a torque or around 19.93 Nm @6,800 rpm. It will be having a weight of around 126.4 kg. It will also have its kerb weight or around 136 kg also. It can easily translate into power to weight ratio of around 201.5 bhp per tonne for its dry weight and 187.28 for its kerb weight.
KTM Duke 200 possesses Bosch Electronic fuel injection system that can deliver fuel according to the throttle response. It uses to possess six speed transmission gear box that uses to drive wheel via chain drive also. It is mainly equipped with the multi desk wet clutch that can operate hydraulically. It is a well designed engine that is designed for an urban commuter KTM.
2. Chassis and Suspension
Duke 200 has got the same Chromium-Molybdenum trell frame with steel sub frame. IT also possess steering head at its tooth is made up of short steel tube that are welded together to form a trells. The front suspension is of an inverted 43mm fork that can travel up to 5.9 inches also.
It has wheelbase of 1360 mm that makes its handling easier. The front tyre size is of 110/70*17 while the rear tyre size is of 150/60*17 that can easily make the road grip firm and can enhance traction control. The duke possesses the disk brake of both front and rear. Its braking power is excellent and possesses 300 mm disc brake at the front and at rear it got 230mm disk brake.
